Talking Metroid Prime: Hunters release date

According to the release date list IGN, they say "January 15, 2005", but since it's in with the January 2006 releases I assume that's just a typo. I'll check around, but usually IGN wouldn't tell a date that isn't announced so I'm sure it's real.

Edit: The official release date is March 20th, 2006.

Dude, your well late - have you not got it yet? *Shocked*...

I just came back from a mammoth session, really good, really good.

I never knew Alex was working at IGN though, he never told us... hehe

Long story cut short:

IGN make mistake, Pilot sarcastically points out the mistake, Euan pretends that it's not a mistake and that Metroid Prime has been out for, er, I make it 9 months?

This is Euan scarcastically troubling you for just now hearing about it. Joke: Typo made the game seem as if it was already released. Euan was speaking as if it were already released, and jokingly making fun.

Euan, again, jokingly claiming that he has just finished playing a rather long/large session of MP:H. Also claiming that it was quite good.

Euan taking a shot at our good member alex. Alex has been known to make several typos throughout his posts, so Euan made it seem as if alex himself was working at IGN and inputting release dates, theoretically creating this typo.

Well I know the being already released part was a joke, but it sounded like I'm posting old news or something.
I thought Alex had more problems with punctuation/grammar than typos, which would end up something like "january15 2006".

Anyway on topic... I'm happy to find out it's in the early parts of Q1, a day before my bro's bday as a matter of fact (unfortunately he rarely plays his DS or MPH:FH).

I was only joking about the Alex comment, didn't mean to offend anyone or anything. Just a light-hearted joke.

You could be a media student, DSD, with the way you look at a text and then break it up into sections (it's bad...)

IGN's Craig breaks it down for ya:

Hi! I've been waiting in anticipation of Konami's Lost in Blue. I'm curious about the release date. IGN DS have it listed as August 15th 2005. Other websites have it listed as September 27th 2005. Konami's website just have it listed as "Fall 2005". @_@ When is it being released?

NDS Otaku

I've been in the biz for more than a decade now, and the one constant: it's hard to nail down release dates for games. Only the occasional game will have a specific day assigned to it, but generally speaking, game dates fluctuate during the development process. Lost in Blue will hit Japan in August, but I believe it'll hit the US in September.

Hello! I work for Game Rush/Blockbuster Inc., and tonight I went through our new list of presale titles for all systems. I happened to come across a listing for Burnout Revenge on Nintendo DS - it had its own part number and everything (116635, if you were curious). The expected ship date is 09/26/05, just 6 days after the PS2 and XBox versions on 09/20/05. I don't know if this substantial enough for you to go on, but who knows, it might be a slow news week. Keep up the nice site work!

Electronic Arts still isn't ready to officially comment on Burnout for the Nintendo DS. If it is in development, I have a hard time believing that it'll ship so close to the console games. What you're seeing in your computer is most likely just placeholder data from inventory control. When I managed a Babbage's a decade ago we'd see crazy updates in our computer all the time for games that wouldn't ship for a year or more.
