It looks cool and I've always wanted to watch videos on my GBA, although since it's not compatible with the original GBA, I have no choice but to use my DS (even better!).
I'm not sure if I want to wait or not, I'll probably buy it as long as it stays under $50, but there's additional cost to worry about (SD cards, which I have none of yet).

well that's silly... why wouldn't it be compatible with the original GBA? I was under the influence that the SP and the not-SP were exactly the same, except for layout and batteryness.
It's good that I plan on getting a DS for christmas, so something like this would come in handy, but... do you think if the screen gets closed, it will stop playing? with that fancy sleep feature that shuts off the screens. That would suck, because if you wanted to use it as your mp3 player, and leave your DS in your pocket, and have headphones all the way to your head... you would need a huge pocket, so you could fit an open ds in it....

This is kinda cool, but don't you think this is a bit against Nintendo's motto?
Nintendo has allways said it's all about the gaming, then the PSP came, and all the Nintendo fans said a mp3 player and video on a handheld is useless..
