Something else worth looking at is the super Card.

This product is simalair to the GBA movie player,
but I believe that it doesn't limit the size of software/Roms that you can run,
you should have little trouble running all NES/GB/GBC/GBA games as well as some SNES games.
You should be able to run some homebrew DS software too, (eg winDS/LinuxDS) with the use flashme/passme/wifime

how much does that one cost?

512mb or 64MB isn't all that much, (espacailly for audio/video)
although, I'm not bad mouthing the X-Rom, if that the way you want to go.

EDIT: That is to say 512mb IS 64MB
The 1 Gb DS cart is only 128 MB
(b = bit, B = 8 bits/1 Byte)

You have 50 songs on a 256 Mb (32MB) X-Rom Card or
50 songs on 256 MB CF/SD card?

Also in what format (wma/mp3/gbs/etc etc)
