Play-Yan coming to the US and Europe

Play-Yan to the States!
Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America's head of marketing, announces that Play Yan, the multimedia that plays MP3 music and MP4 movies on the GBA and the Nintendo DS, will be coming to the United States and Europe later this year.

Fils-Aime says, "The Play-Yan is a really neat idea for this marketplace," says Fils-Aime, "So more to come at E3 on that."

i dont see it costing anymore than £30/ $30

Really? I don't know about that. It was roughly $80 in japan (still cheaper than a PSP), so I would say $50 american or more...

not to sure about american dollars but in the UK most gameboy accessories/hardware, dont cost more then £40 unless your counting the tv tuner (£60), either way im not paying more then £45 for this

The price of SD cards right now really help when purchasing the Play-Yan. I may or may not get it, it all depends on how they go about releasing it.

I was worried about the writing device's cost. That's why I'm so excited about the new one with a built in USB 2.0.

I order the movie player advance last week. I got that one instead of the play-yan because you can play nes games on it. Other than that it looks to be the same.

ahh well the memory cards it uses are wayyy cheaper then the memory stick duo O_o
