about the online capabilities i heard that theyre are making a tunnel for it.... im not exactly sure when itl come out or how it will work, but I do know that theyre testing it here:

RE: Chances of getting a DS!
The issue here is that untill client side applications are setup to contact a master server you cannot go online anywhere you want. You will have to tunnel it with software on your pc that contacts a master server.This means you will have to be at home or in a wifi zone with the tunneling software.
There doesnt ever have to be any single online solution for DS, companys like EA will have their own master servers that you connect to and play on, like their PS2 service ( this is why it is free not like Xbox live ). This is why nintendo didnt use their money to create this service. Also as soon as you see Hacked carts with independant software the possibilities are endless for a powerfull platform with a wifi connection. This is a huge advantage over nintendo trying to limmit useability and it is why the dev communities are pretty excited |
