G'day everyone.

I bought a new Nintendo DS from EBGames in Australia ( at Wollongong

central ) on Friday 25th Feb 2005 . After that , I found out that my touch

screen has some dead pixel (which is red colour ). Today (Sat 26th Feb

2005 ) I went to EBGames to have some replacement , staffs in the store

said that they need to make a call to Nintendo (Australia) first before they

can change a new one. I would like to know that they need to call

Nintendo to have a permission for a replacement?

ps. This is my first time using this board . :D
ps.2 I feel so mad when they said " We need to call Nintendo first "
ps.3 My English is not good , sorry about that lol.

P.S i would go over ebgames head and contact nintendo diectlly that way less time and no chance of eb screwing you over

RE: Would you like another Competition?

I don't know much about Nintendo Australia that they have the same policy(hardware replacement) as Nintendo America

at the time being, I have to wait 'til Monday.

ps. Super Mario 64 DS is awesome!!!!

RE: I bought a new game

Nintendo have a 0 dead pixel policy, the shop I got mine from over here in New Zealand accepted my DS back because it had a dead pixel, there was no problem, I packed it back up nicely, took it in, they guy had a look and he could see the dead pixel, so he swapped it right there.

EBgames suck, don't buy there again if you can help it. They offer crappy deals that get easily beat by other shops if you look around.
