Should I use a Linksys WRT54G to browse the internet as well as play DS and Wii games? I'm moving in a few weeks and I have dial-up. I hear that there are problems with it from this:

I think DSL would work, assuming it uses an Ethernet cable between the modem and PC or network as a cable modem does. I have a WRT54G v1, which had some problems with wireless strength but seems to be fine now, it doesn't seem that firmware had anything to do with it. I also have a D-Link DI-624, which reboots randomly, so between these two I recommend the Linksys. My setup is using both the D-Link and the Linksys, using a crossover cable with the Linksys acting as the primary router (connected to the modem), the D-Link is primarily used for wireless PC's while the Linksys is used for the wired network and DS.

I can't get cable, DSL is what they're providing.
Is the Linksys WRT54G really around $150? That's what I read somewhere and I'm not sure.
