i think the sims 2 games are all awesome, on the pc anyway... they are way better on the pc compared to the versions for the DS, and GBA because those versions are like the child version of the game, you kno wat i mean? (the GC versions are better in that they are not so "childish" but they are not nearly as good as the ones on the pc) think about it, they made a sims 2 nightlife expansion for the pc but stuff like dating would never b on the ds or gba. even though on the Urbz 4 the ds u could "kiss", all it did was show lipstick all over the screen. the sims 2 pets may b very good on the ds, but in my opinion i would b disappointed if i already had the pc versions...

The sims on the computer are always better on the computer. I don't think the games translate very well into the other game formats. I have the Sims 2 for the game cube and the one for the DS and the one for the gameboy Advance and the best on by far are the ones for the computer I just stoped playing them after awhile and went back to the one on the computer.

I honestly agree with Wendy. The game's detailing and controls are way better and it just seems better on the PC.

I agree, you shouldn't waste your money on the the ds version. Also the one on the pc got a lot cheaper so buy that instead if you want.

My only problem with the PC version is that they're milking it way too much with all the expansions. I never pay full game price for an expansion, maybe $10 but not $20+.
I think PC is better for just about every kind of game, except DS is better for the portability and some unique games and Wii is better for some of its features that PC doesn't have, but there's hardware out there that lets PC mimic traditional consoles very accurately or even better quality than the consoles do themselves.

Who wants to play The Sims with a Stylus though. It just messes up the game. Also, The Sims on the DS would be so much better if it was WiFi Compatible so people can chat with other people online just like on the PC version. I, very much, agree with your statement on the pricing of the expansions because I hate it to and it's just stupid to make it cost that much. The company should just make the expansions regular full games that are compatible with the older versions. So,if you just don't happen to have an older one you still get to play the game.

Only the Sims Online had chat capability as far as I know, it was MMO, and there were many problems with abuse. I know a good free substitute for it though.
