My new DS just arrived at my door. It does have a prective cover on the touch screen. No dead pixel. :D It came with a new stylus. I now have 3 stylii. The touch screen is less sensitive. But the d-pad is done differently than other DSs it has little ridges poking up.

i have heard of others people ds touch screen being less sensitive after they have had them back from nintendo.

is that better or worse?

and my ds had little ridges poking up when i got my one new (just thought i would say) :D

if the touch screen is less responsive, it is deffinentally worse. I don't think Nintendo is giving you a brand new ds. One question. If you have a problem with a ds, do you get to keep the DS with the problem?

o and if you are refering to my ds then i can tell you it is new, got it a few days after launch day (thats good Considering i live in the uk) :D

I had to send in the old one to get the new one. It is bad that the screen is less sensitive, but it has a good protective cover on it.
