RE: Do any of the mods know...

So, I was at a new EB, and I asked if they had a nintendo DS on display and this guy (mid 20's i'd guess) pulls out this NDS from behind the counter...
I got to play Metroid Prime Hunters : 1st hunt for a few minutes, then Super Mario 64 DS for a while after that...

The picture is MUCH better then what i have seen on the internet. The video play back is smooth, and real time rendering was sharp. And even using the stylus the control was tight and responsive...

It's a good thing they didn't have any in stock cause i wouldn't have been able to walkout without one...

This thing is a must have!!

lol - some people are like that and thats why we have to educate them into the world of gaming. I can remember my first time on tetris i just stared at the screen for ages wondering what to do and looking at the "beautiful" graphics and listen to that tune.

I won't by a NDS until April. Not because I'm trying to save $20 or something, or because I don't want it, but just because it would be to much of a distraction this school year. This is my final full year (i plan to return for some other credits to get a second diploma) and I'm working 2 jobs, and volunteering (for a local TV station), so I believe a NDS would ruin me... cause i'd never put it down.

I may however change my mind if a cool business app (messaging, date keeping, Fire Fox, Linux) comes along pre-April. That TV tuner is a businees app right ;) ?

RE: Could NDS been used as a webserver

lol - well can't you buy one and lock it up in a safe or something or have a 10 minute play each day. You must be dying man!
