Cool Using Nintendo DS as a WiFi phone!
Has anyone tried any of these DS VoIP hacks that let you voice chat? If so, how was your experience?

Animal Crossing has online text chat, but not voice chat. Metroid Prime Hunters, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, and Pokemon Diamond/Pearl are the only games I know of off the top of my head that have online voice chat support.

Is Pokemon in-game voice chat? Or is Nintendo being gay again - and only the menu.

Not like it really matters. Since s/he's your friend, you probably already have contact with him/her - using TeamSpeak etc...
