WAR CRAFT

Hey,

I don't know if War Craft has made a big splash on consoles/Portables (I know PS1 did have a version) but NDS could really make use of the stylus with War Craft.

Here's what I invision... In War Craft you basically have 3 main things on the screen. The map, your resource management, and the main play arae. I think these should be thumbnailed on the top screen. You can then select these by "tabbing around" with the D-PAD (L&R) or something. Once you put the section on Focus, it appears in the bottom screen where most of the play is done via touch.

What do you all think?

A strategy game at all would be great with this, im not a big warcraft fan, but i like the idea.

I've always felt that Strategy games/RTS are made for the DS' control schemes and touch screen.

I cannot wait till a game is able to show the DS' potential in this genre... Good idea.

Advance Wars is planned for the DS, i think. As big as a success the two GBA games were, i guess this will be just as big a seller. Fun games, although i have a tendency to tire from repetitivity in such games. The only RPG/Strategy game i play which i never tire of is Neverwinter Nights, which, as i think of it, would be lovely for the DS.

What is warcraft anway is it a god game or summit like Red Alert?

It is very similar to red Alert. Think Red Alert in Medieval times with humans, orcs, elves and undead and there's Warcraft.

Sounds awesome... I hope this does come to the DS. It would be perfect for the features.
