My reason for going so expensive is because it seems all the cheaper ones don't have compatibility for some of the best homebrew such as Tower Defense or Quake2DS. I gotta have really good homebrew compatibility in my flash card, I don't care about "backup" compatibility.

TTDS has excelent homebrew compatibility I have Quake2 DS working on my TTDS right now.
Of course the expansion pack is required.

I think it was Tower Defense and Geo Wars that didn't work on the TTDS, and I like those games so I decided to avoid it.

Btw- Did anyone knw there is a Quake for the Wii? Homebrew | NES Hacks Its a pretty cool idea. I think you need the actual game but hey. its Quake...and on the Wii...

Yeah, all the legal Quake homebrew ports require that you own the game or the shareware version. The source code has been opened so the homebrew community could port it, but the content such as the levels, models, textures, sound, etc. is not made free.

Are you going to download this Quake hack Pilot? Becuase Quake 1 and 2 are awesome on the DS. Quake 4...on the other hand...I dont know..Why would I play a dumbed down ver. for the Wii?

Quake 2 will always be my favorite, just because of the impact it has had on my early years of multiplayer gaming.
I either have too many games to care anymore or I've aged enough to prefer the classic games I've loved in the past more than nearly all of the newer games. CoD4 is a good example, it gets great reviews and it looks sweet, but I just don't care for it because I already have trouble finding time to play the games I already own and want to play. As far as the Wii, I intend to leave mine pure just because I don't really have time for consoles (similar reason as above), as great as the Wii is, plus the rest of my family uses it and I wouldn't want to risk breaking it.
