A wifi homebrew update
I forgot about this and most people have too but Stephen Stair is very close to getting the ds wifibounty (http://sc.tri-bit.com/dswfb). His ds wifi site (http://akkit.org/dswifi/index.html) shows his progress. Over the last 4 or so weeks things have went from a couple 100%s and alot of lower than 50%s to this. I predict he will be done before November 14. He just got half the bounty a few days ago.

Coolness! Don't forget people, this pwns even after Nintendo WiFi Connection is in full swing cause we could play ANY multiplayer game online with it.

Almost anything will be possible, streaming and web browsing would probably be on the homebrew scene quickly, including IRC and possibly voice chat.
One thing I'm trying to figure out: what hardware/software requirements are there for this? Edit: Ok I think I figured it out, it's just something for homebrewers to use to make their programs go online, probably meaning we can't play MPHFH with it. This is making me desperate for M3... Well, I suppose. As I recall this reward required that it need no DS modification, purely PC based software...

That's bad news. It won't be so easy. We'll see what it requires when it's out... It appears to require some DS modification, but I believe that they may be able to interface without a flashme with certain software...

Could think of it this way, this bounty is at least leading the way to a simple tunnel that only requires something like a router firmware modification (much like was promised awhile back and failed).

WiFiMe works if you have a pass key and a specific router, pass keys are cheap now you can get one with the M3 for $100 total. Speakign of the M3, dont get one for movies. I downloaded the vid converter and the quality is really low
