Disconnecting Glitch for MKDS?

I've heard of the disconnect glitch for MKDS (glitching the game on WiFi so your losses don't go up) but lately I've been experiencing weird things with people who do it. Say, if I'm racing 3 other people, and 2 others quit out; after the last match, the last person will disconnect before the trophy screen after the point tally (using the glitch) and I'll get a message saying "Your opponent has disconnected" and I'll go back to the match select screen. However, I've been checking my losses and they're going down after racing these people. I've gone from 146 losses to 134, and it's pretty weird. Anyone else experiencing this?

No, if people disconnect on you, your loss decreases.

And the glitch is pretty obvious but I'm still not going to tell you. =)

I know it too, but that's not the point.. I was seeing if anyone else was experiencing a drop in their losses even if they weren't pulling off the glitch themselves.

yep i've been messing around with disconnection things and sometimes if i walk out of range of my router my losses will drop.

i've also lost losses when people disconnected on me...

I said no to the part where the loss decreases is a glitch.

And yes, it's a common connection error people experience. WFC sometimes isn't very stable making it believe that your opponent disconnected - but it appears like that on both sides.

0_o holy crap silfarion, you now have 109 losses?! you used to have 146!!!

dang. after all my weird disconnection-loss things, i only went from 109 to 102.

happened to me too, i had 295 and now i got 291
