This thread is for people to post information about any hackers they discover, or anyone that uses uncommonly used bugs to put other players at a disadvantage. I'll keep the list in this post up-to-date. If anyone runs into anyone listed here, you should disconnect immediately before the match starts. If you're listed here, you suck and everyone you played against wants your privilege to own any electronic device taken from you.
Discovered by Pilot_51 on 8/24/06 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: goombomb Hacker stars: 3 Hacker character: Noxus Maps: Oubliette, VDO Gateway Level of confirmation: Definite Hack: Invulnerability Description: First map played was Oubliette, he remained at the top and shot the Omega Cannon close range and never tried to avoid the blast, he didn't die once and I got last place (behind a 1 star) because of my aggressive attempts to kill him. I decided to play again to see what exactly the hack was. Second map was VDO Gateway, in which he stood still much of the match giving a half-effort to even hit anyone and I had the opportunity to headshot him countless times and hit him with my alt form attack a few times, he was also shot point blank by the other player for about 5-10 seconds before the he headshotted the player, he never died and I had to kill the other opponent to take first place. Additional info: I did a search for his name at http://metroid.kaaosa.com/search and it came up with one result, TRIFORCEMX, who also hacked the stats giving him multiple ranks, which are 8, 10, 11, 12, and 13 according to Kaaosa stats. Discovered by Lite_Noxus on 8/28/06 Game: Mario Kart DS Hacker name: (unknown) Description: A guy picked Moo Moo Farm in MKDS and at the starting line before the countdown he dissappeared so I changed to the alternate map and I saw him in the middle of the level. I started racing and I still didn't see him. He was still in the middle. 2 seconds later the point rankings show up and the match ended. He won. I played again and he did the same thing. Discovered by Dhaka on 9/1/06 Game: Star Fox Command Hacker name: (unknown) Description: As it worked, all 4 players were moving, shooting each other, etc, but the player who was yellow (i forgot the name) was nowhere near anyone at all, and shooting everyone down instantly. I got killed 10 times in a matter of a minute (trust me.... this would never happen normally) from a player across the map. And so was the other people who were playing, they also got show down instantly. Also, the player never had to move to collect the stars (if you play the game u know u have to fly through it to collect it). Just a warning for you people out there to watch out for this.... and it caused me to get a dropout =( Discovered by Pilot_51 on 10/12/06 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: 1337 Hacker stars: 1 Hacker character: Trace Map: Council Chamber Level of confirmation: Definite Hacks: Invulnerability, ability to fly Description: His ability to fly around the map appeared to be activated by jumping, maybe a combination of buttons since it he took about a second or two standing still before he did it. That's the first time I saw that hack. He stood still trying to headshot a newbie a couple times (he was very lousy I might add) which gave me the opportunity to confirm his invincibility. He just barely managed to tie for 1st place with me. I found a video that shows probably the exact same hack, from the hacker's perspective: Discovered by Pilot_51 on 10/15/06 (1), seen again on 10/27/06 (2) Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Filter (1): Worldwide/All Filter (2): Worldwide/Rank Hacker name: desire Hacker stars (1): 2 Hacker stars (2): 1 Hacker characters (1): Trace (x2), Noxus Hacker character (2): Kanden Maps (1): Alinos Perch, Combat Hall, Outer Reach Map (2): Alinos Perch Glitch used (1): Shadow freeze Level of confirmation: Definite Hack (1): Invulnerability Hack (2): Invulnerability, ability to fly Description (1): He didn't stand still much at all, but after spending 3 rounds trying to be sure if he was hacking, and he never died and I never saw him run for health, I'm convinced he was hacking. I hit him in the head several times, mostly in close combat, and if lag was a factor it's usually the case that I eventually get laggers with all my misses. He won the first and last matches in which he was Trace, and the second match was Combat Hall when he was Noxus and we tied at 0. I might add that he was frequently shooting at me with various weapons and hitting me most of the time even where he couldn't see me. Discovered by Pilot_51 on 10/20/06 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: U Got Srvd Filter: Worldwide Hacker stars: 5 Hacker character: Samus Map: Alinos Perch Level of confirmation: Likely Hack: Invulnerability Description: I didn't have much of a chance to prove this as a hacker, but after seeing how clumsy he was and how everyone was trying to headshot him and I got what appeared to be several headshots (some would've been headshots even with a quarter second lag) and he never died or ran for health, I have reason to believe this to be a hacker. I got second place behind him and I tried to get another round with him for further evidence, but he was the host and he quit. Discovered by Pilot_51 on 10/27/06 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: Enel Filter: Local/Rank Hacker stars: 4 Hacker character: Samus Map: Alinos Perch Level of confirmation: Definite Hack: Ability to fly Description: He got 7 kills in 1 minute. After I picked up all the power-ups as I usually do at the beginning of a match, I noticed him flying around in the large area of the map sniping, and a few seconds after I noticed him he got his 7 kills off the two low ranked players, so I couldn't test if he was invulnerable. Discovered by Pilot_51 on 11/1/06 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: Tallon IV Filter: Worldwide/All Hacker stars: 4 Hacker character: Weavel Map: Alinos Perch Level of confirmation: Definite Hack: Invulnerable/fly Discovered by Pilot_51 on 11/1/06 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: (Jap character)Jedi Filter: Worldwide/All Hacker stars: 5 Hacker character: Weavel Map: Ice Hive Level of confirmation: Possible Hack: Invulnerable/fly Description: He had a very slow start, as if he was a newb that didn't even know about the deathalt. He didn't hit the jump pad until I was going into the main entrance to the room with the deathalt, and by the time I got to where I could see the deathalt hole, he was already in it. I managed to avoid him most of the map and he only killed me once with the second deathalt, but I took many shots at his head, some when he stood still, and from what I could tell he never even ran for health, although he did switch to halfturret and flee a lot. He was very fast moving around the map and seldom left the deathalt room or hallways. Discovered by Pilot_51 on 11/3/06 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: Hex Filter: Local/All Hacker stars: 4 Hacker character: Samus Map: Combat Hall Level of confirmation: Definite Hack: Invulnerable/fly Description: I knew something was up when I noticed the 4 star player stop in plain view and take a headshot, then a couple minutes later I saw him fly up and at me. Once the 1 star player knew he was a hacker and the hacker didn't want to risk me killing the 1 star to take the lead, they both teamed up on my and put me in last place, taking a huge chunk from my already rapidly declining points. Discovered by Pilot_51 on 1/27/07 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: requiem Filter: World/rank Hacker stars: 3 Hacker character: Noxus Map: Alinos Gateway Level of confirmation: Definite Hack: Cloak toggle, invulnerable Glitch used: Shadow freeze Description: He had a perfect score and the cloak toggle (which he used about 4 times during the match) was clear evidence he was hacking since there's no cloak on Alinos Gateway and Noxus doesn't naturally cloak. Discovered by Pilot_51 on 1/27/07 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: n00bZ quit Filter: World/all Hacker stars: 4 Hacker character: Samus Maps: Data Shrine, Outer Reach Level of confirmation: Likely Hack: Invulnerable Description: I hit him countless times in or near the head with the Imperialist and there was a couple times he stood still for me, he never died. The only explanation for him not hacking is really bad lag, but he wasn't jumpy (appearing and disappearing places) as most major laggers do. Discovered by Pilot_51 on 1/28/07 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name (except in complicated characters): 2*AGAIN.=( Filter: World/all Hacker stars: 5 Hacker character: Noxus Maps: Sic Transit Level of confirmation: Definite Hack: Invulnerable, skin color toggle Description: He had a perfect score, mostly from killing the other players, and he stood still quite often so he could shoot at someone he cornered (at which time I shot him a few times in the head). I also noticed about 80% of his skin changed to an orange color sometimes, which could possibly be a graphical glitch I've never seen since I see very little purpose for it, but since he was also invulnerable and there are some areas in Sic Transit that orange does blend into better than blue, I have every reason to believe he had a skin hack. Discovered by Lite_Noxus on 2/9/07 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Hacker name: TUP(degree symbol close to base of letters) YOUNG1 Maps: Arcterra GateWay, Combat Hall Hacks: Can shoot Power Beam and an Omega Cannon is shot instead. Can't be killed or frozen. Discovered by canadaboy700 on 2/9/07 Game: Mario Kart DS Hacker name: lots of symbols i cant remember. Track: Sky garden Description: Same as what light noxus said. Though when i saw him dissapear 7 or so secounds later he did a lap of the coarse. Discovered by Miguel on 2/10/07 Game: Metroid Prime Hunters Maps: Combat Hall Hacker stars: 1 Hacks: flying invanrablity ulimited, omega cannon, invisible Description: when i face this guy i knew i lost so i rather die then turn off my ds you loose more points if you do esiscally if there a 1 star well he would stay in the air invisible shooting the omega cannon of course i died and i shot him with 120 rounds of voltdriver ammo and hes still alive Last edited by Pilot_51; 10-02-2007 at 08:08 PM. |

well the part where u shoot at them, even head shot them, and they dont die ive seen a total of 5 times (not sure if it was the same person or not, never kept track of it)...but the glitchers i see all the time.. (combat hall cheaters ftl.... morphing into biped form when ur in the alt form only areas and then just shooting everything in sight without being able to get hit is a load of bs)....and a lot more of them than that

so your in zoom and it says "headshot" and he still doesn't die?
maybe you're just hitting the wrong places. the headshot system in this game is weird, its better to hit like the chin/high chest area than the actual head. i've nailed someones head quite a few times before without getting the headshot, and then hitting somewhere else and getting it. |

First off the Oubliette incident immediately told me something was up with the guy, and on VDO Gateway he stood still and gave me and the other guy all the chances we needed to know he was hacking. I never got the headshot message, but I had plain chances from far and point blank and I knew it couldn't be lag or an aiming issue since all he did a bunch of the time was stand in one spot and look around taking bad shots like a hacker getting bored of owning. He was hacking 100%, I know what I experienced.
