Mario Kart Wi-Fi Speed

Hello all!

I was on Wi-Fi against a Japanese player, and he seemed to be a lot faster than me.

We were both playing as Yoshi in the "Egg 1" kart, so it wasn't character selection.

Has anyone else noticed this, or am I the only one? I think it may be due to the Japanese and European games differing, but it would be nice to have confirmation...

I've seen lots of encounters such as this one. It happens to me a lot, when we have the same character and kart, but they just got way faster.

There's hacks that let people go faster in online races, so I'd say it's probably a hacker.
If either of you were snaking then I'd say it's all in the snaking.

we werent snaking. right from the off i couldnt catch him, even with a supershroom. he didnt fall off rainbow road either.
it's good to no others have this problem.
