aaaahhhh, ive only just learned about it. Its a device that hooks up with your internet connection and emits "some" of it wirelessly to other devices other than your PC. Sharing the connection in other words.

can't you just have a normal wireless router? i have one, and it uses the same frequency the DS will. which i think is a 802.11g if im not mistaken.

Well, acording to other companies who know everything about all this stuff say, don't buy any routers yet and let nintendo deal with it so, im guessing nothing works for it yet?

well the nintendo uses its own proprietary wireless thus making it really hard to have any wireless card "see" the DS .. the card must support short preamble which is not a wireless standard so the options are limited .. XLink will have it working with the WRT router and a USB wireless network stick .. IMO if the big N is going to launch its own online service you will have to buy a nintendo wireless device .. i have a DS and love nintendo but the PSP did it right as far as online connectivity goes, about the only thing they did right :]
