Angry Please help! Wanadoo/Nintendo USB Problems!

I have wanadoo broadband normal 576kbps speedtouch modem.

I dont have a wireless router or wireless modem so i decided to get the USB Connection Dongle.

It arrived yesterday, I installed the software (with firewalls off), inserted the USB stick when instructed to and it installed fine.

I fired up my DS with mario kart, chose Nintendo WFC, and then Nintendo WFC Settings.

I then chose the blue option and chose 'connect to your nintendo wi-fi usb connector.

I granted my username access on my pc, and then initianted the connection test.

I then got

"Error Code: 52103

Connected to access point but unable to connect to the server. Confirm connection settings and internet avalibility. For help, visit www.nintendowifi.com"

So i went to their website and typed in the error code.

this was the result:

"Error Code: 52100-52103

The Access Point you are attempting to connect from is not connected to the internet or a firewall is blocking traffic necessary for connecting to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. What to do will depend on where you are trying to connect from:

From a wireless home network:

Verify that your router is connected to the internet when attempting to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. If you are not able to access the internet on your computer, then there is a problem with your internet connection. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for more information.

If your router has a built-in firewall that interferes with the necessary transmissions from the Nintendo DS, then your router may not be compatible. Click here to view our list of known supported routers.

Connecting from a non-partnered Hotspot:

The access point at the Hotspot may not be experiencing problems. Ask the staff on site if their Wi-Fi network is up and running.

If the Hotspot's access point has a built-in firewall or other security that interferes with the necessary transmissions from the Nintendo DS, then the access point will not be compatible with the Nintendo DS.

Try another Hotspot. To search for known Hotspots in your area, click here. "

I thought this was strange, as i didnt have a router. I checked that my panda antivirus automatic protection + firewall was turned off, and my windows firewall. I also have AVG antivirus free version, which has no firewall, but i closed it down anyway.

I tried again with the same error.

I then rang the nintendo wi-fi suppourt line.

Rang Nintendo - Told it is an ISP problem. told to ring wanadoo
Rang Wanadoo - Told that they do not know about DS hardware. told to ring nintendo
Rang Nintendo - Told it is an internet connection problem, not a ds promlem. told to ring wanadoo
Rang Wanadoo - transferred to different person 4 times without warning, told that they have not been told by nintendo how to connect
Rang Nintendo - Told it is an ISP problem. told to ring wanadoo

I asked both companies if they could contact the other directly to try to resolve the issue, as it was pretty obvious I was going around in circles. They both declined.

So now I have a problem. Nintendo and Wanadoo wont help, so if anyone here has any information could you please help me??

Thanks in advance???

I accessed the router's configuration via IP: 192.168.2.1

Advanced Setup > Wireless > Channel and SSID > Transmission Rate > Auto 1 or 2 Mbps.

And this configuration was a pure guess from messing around with all the settings. =D
