Point systems

I thought this might come in handy. This is to show in an easy to find place how the point systems work in the different wi-fi games, I'll keep this as up-to-date as I can. I'll be doing some research for the ones I don't understand yet, and I ask that everyone else help out in that area, especially for the games I don't have. Stickied for convenience and to encourage the support of others to get this all figured out, if an admin disagrees with the sticky feel free to unstick.


Mario Kart DS
Points apply to the final results after all 4 races.
Get a win for every opponent you beat.
Get a loss for every opponent you lose to.
Get a win for beating 3 opponents with 40 points. (unconfirmed)
If you disconnect and the match completes, when you reconnect you get a loss for every opponent that finishes. (unconfirmed)

A win for every opponent you beat? hm.... you may be right. but im pretty sure you get an extra win if you 40 the 3 other people.

I've gotten 40 over 3 opponents many times but I guess I wasn't monitoring my points when I did, I'll look into that. Although if that was the case, I don't think they should be calling it a "win", more like "win points".

im pretty sure im right in this, i've done some testing lately since i 40 most opponents anyway. like i had 410 wins, then 40ed 2 people and my record became 413 wins.

well i normally humor non-snakers, and keep it close so they don't disconnect. and no one disconnected in that one.

Thats cool, and helpful, what also would be of help is how many points you lose to which star rating when you do lose.
