Welcome to the site, TheWon, and thanks for your affiliation. At this point, our Wi-Fi plans aren't set in stone. The only thing that is, obviously, are the forums for it. I'm not sure, but maybe chuddy has more info...

Other than that, it'd be nice to see so many sites coming together to form one huge DS Wi-Fi experience.
Thank you. Let me say I'm not here to steal anyones members. The only reason I posted on Animal Crossing Online about ProjectMkart. Is Because it's about Mario Kart. ACO has no plans for that game there. I spoke with MR DeadDoll and got the OK to do that.
Just like I did here. So thanks for the real welcome.

Of course lkr overreacted, but now that that's cooled down, how about some explanation? Frankly... I don't see the point of these "alliances". That's just it, it's about friendly competition. If you set up a clan competition, clans join, that's it. I don't see it... What I really don't get is why being "affiliates" helps either of us any way. What will this do for either of us?

Also, perhaps you should have joined the forums so we could actually get to know you rather than just show up saying that you were an "affiliate".

I'll assume you've never owned a website...

Of course not. So how about explaining it?

Right it's about traffic and hits. To get noticed.

This is my plan. When TouchDs plans a huge event like a tournament. I will get the information and pass it to all the other members of the Alliance. If their members want participate in TouchDS's Tournament. Then they will have too join this site. THe same goes for events we may hold. More members more hits. If things get huge. Maybe someone will notice us.

Plus the idea of site battles is awesome.

It's all about the exchange. Plus, it gives the hardcore the opportunity to have more available DS online tournaments to them (or for international users, etc...).

Site vs. Site is indeed intriguing. And, of course, the traffic exchange is the key point of affiliation.

We've already got plenty of traffic. I don't wish to have much more. This site doesn't make money, it's simply about the users, and at the moment we have a great amount. We're already gaining members abnormally quickly at the moment thanks to DS online coming, and I really don't think we need, or possibly want, this much attention. Think: Flood of the online noobs. "What's a DNS? What's a SEVERR?! Why dosnt my DS go onlin? I have a computer?!?"

I think you're not seeing the whole "moderator" thing coming into play. And, obviously, as the site grows, new moderators will be required.

Honestly, how can you not want more traffic?

I reiterate, you've never owned a site before, so...

It's never about the money. I paid for my site and I am not getting anything out of it. Just the satisfaction of people having fun. "That sound real gay!" It's true though just how warppipe.com help with the lack of a gamecube online service. Our sites will be the front runners of th new Nintendo Wifi World.

Look at the Smash Boards. It started as a forum to talk about SMBM now it is the site for that game.

One more thing. Most of the members will already have forum experience. We all ahave to deal with noobies
