It may be a fault with the wireless card inside your DS. How long have you had the DS for? It might be worth getting it replaced if it is still under the 1 year warranty to see if another DS works? Hope that you sort it as it would be a shame not to be able to play wireless.

Wireless Network
You are having problems connecting wireless. You need to check setting on the wireless router.
Check to see if your Modem is using WPA-PSK or WEP security. If your modem wireless security was set to WPA-PSK you will need to change it to WEP as the Nintendo DS only supports WEP.A lot of new Wireless modems support WPA-PSK.If you do change the security to WEP you will need to change the settings on every wireless machine you use in the house otherwise they will not be able to connect anymore. ON YOUR WIRELESS MODEM Once you have changed the security to WEP you will need to enter a phrase in a box that will generate a key( Use WEP with 128bit key). This key you will need to enter into your wireless settings on your Nintendo DS. You may also have to enter you DS MAC address into your Wireless modems MAC Address filtering list. You can get your DS mac address if you have Mario Kart. insert Mario Kart Select Nintendo WFC Select Nintendo WFC Settings Select Options Select System info The MAC address may be needed to be entered on your router if you have MAC Address filtering enabled. Any problems post on here and I will try to help you.

It doesn't matter too much arthur, as long as he's not spamming. He's answered a common question to two seperate queries, in two seperate threads.
dsfan79, try doing what just4funuk has suggested because your modem settings could well be set to WPA encryption, and the DS only works with WEP encryption, therefore you have to manually change it. I'm not sure if PSP requires WEP encryption, but it's worth trying to change your settings anyway. If it doesn't work then you might want to think about getting a WiFi USB adaptor. If none of the suggested ideas work then it could well be a problem with your DS as stated previously. |

If you're not even seeing the name of the router when you search for it, it's likely that you don't have SSID broadcast (radio) enabled on the router. Make sure it's enabled and let me know if you still need help.
If you configured everything else connected to your router, then you probably know how the DS should be configured and the SSID isn't the problem. I'm taking it in little steps for now. Also see if this helps at all: | Nintendo - Customer Service | Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Don't let PSP owners use that as a reason PSP is better, tell them to try connecting to your router before claiming it's the fault of the DS. |
