What? Who said anything about clans? Traditionally, they do not, since that would invite more people to them. There is normally an initiation thing, such as putting the clan tag at the begginning/end of your name.

i've been in quite a few clans in my day and i've never heard of clans costing money

Yes... Even if there's not a special service for clans, all it takes is a few people that play together a good bit.

Great. What I figure this site should do is add a new board. Title it Clan, etc. then, we should have tourneys, post high scores for the tourneys, and most of all, have our own clan

We used to have one. I believe it was associated with DSleague.com. Man, DS League would have been a good name, but they used it for the site. We were in the process of coming up with a name.

the only thing i can tell u is clan's usually ask for donations, but that is for comp and u have to buy servers etc. so for the DS you probably wont even hear about money
