***Forum Games - Guidelines and Regulations***

The Forum Games area of the Lounge is intended to be a central location for all forum games. As such, the environment here is and should remain fun and entertaining. Feel free to create all kinds of wacky games and post in any game you want. To maintain order, though, I would prefer to have everyone follow some general rules and structures when posting in the Forum Games area. These are here simply to retain the enjoyment that exists in playing forum games and to keep things from getting out of hand. They are as follows:

• Please, for the love of [insert spiritual deity], don't create duplicate games.
  - Seriously. As more games are created, some older ones are bound to be lost in the fray. However, please use common sense and do a search before you create a new game. Creating a "fresh" new version of the same game is unacceptable. It's not cute, and you aren't original. Also, don't create games that more or less exist. Example: "Post something about the person above you!" is freaking identical to "Enter a message regarding the person above you!" Any new games that are deemed identical or nonsensically similar will be closed without warning. You will be referenced back to this post when a thread is closed.
  
• Remain on topic in the game threads.
  - You know, it's fantastic that what's his name mentioned something interesting in his post. Just don't derail the game for the sake of small talk. People want to play games in the Forum Games section. Idle chit-chat is soley for the Lounge. If a game becomes off-topic for multiple posts, it becomes free game for a closing. You will be referenced back to this post when a thread is closed.
  
• Respect other members and avoid altercations.
  - If someone decides it would be cool to call you a name that offends you, please refrain from argumentative behavior. Do your best to ignore them and, one better, report the post to a moderator. There's no sense in messing up a perfectly fine game all because Jonny2shoeS called you a hooker. If fighting amongst members continues for multiple posts, the game will be shut down. You will be referenced back to this post when a thread is closed.
  
• Keep all forum games in this section.
  - Don't go posting forum games in the Lounge anymore. It is mandatory that all forum games be posted in this section, and that they remain here. It makes things easier for moderators to keep an eye on the games if they are all in one place, and it simply keeps things organized. Be warned, however, that any forum game thread created outside of the Forum Game section will be closed ASAP. You will be referenced back to this post when a thread is closed.
  
• Enjoy yourself!
  - Come now, games are supposed to be enjoyable. Above all, have fun when you're posting here. Don't let anyone get you down and ignore all the haters. There's no sense in have games if you aren't enjoying playing them. So feel free to make up a new game and post all you want in the threads. Just know that basic forum rules apply (such as no double posting, no spamming, etc.) as well as the rules listed above. This area was created for those who enjoy forum games, but it's also open to anyone willing to participate and follow the guidelines and regulations.
