Talking All our prayers have been answerd (Well most of them:P)

We all know that Nintendo won’t be at TGS so there is a convention for them! More like a presentation than anything else, a conference if you will.

Awesome stuff that Nintendo announced

DSi- What you have always wanted on the DS is now here! SD Card support, bigger screens, built in internet browser, better interface, a built in camera, MP3 and ACC playback, picture and sound manipulation, less charge time, less battery life, but much awesomeness!!

Also with this New Nintendo DS points will be used for download content off the DSi Shop (much like the Wii shop channel) it will range from 200-800 points and with the SD card reader get ready to download a few tracks for guitar hero on Tour for DS and downloadable maps for the Crystal Chronicles (which I will come to shortly).

This is the new DSi being held up by the President himself!

This is the DSi in the viewing box, as you can see the camera will be facing away from the user whilst playing. Plus the box looks nifty! That is the interface of the home screen, allowing easy access to all your files

Difference between DSlite and DSi: (data taken from Kotaku, the Gamer’s Guide

• Size of Liquid Crystal Display

The DSi is scheduled to be released outside Japan in Spring 09, nothing confirmed at this point.

WHAT ABOUT THE Wii you ask?

Well the Wii has gotten in spot in the lime light as well my friends, the biggest news being the storage availability given to us to store those large WiiWare and VC games.
Nintendo has released to our bickering the ‘Wii Software SD Card!!’ (Unofficial name)

This allows many, many users of the Wii to download as much content as they want onto the Wii without worrying about space, though no size larger than 1gb is confirmed it is still exciting enough to get my palms all sweaty.
Of course Nintendo being as they are didn’t release any details about the Wii to read data off the SD card or not, meaning Download content is still in the air. The service is set to launch in Spring 09.

Nintendo fans have always cried out at the fact that there are “no hardcore games out for the Wii.” and at E3 they certainly raised the decibels to Nintendo. Well this conference hopefully silenced those fanboys! I was:P

Of course Animal crossing and Wii music was shown but unlike e3 Nintendo showed us games we actually wanted to see!

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time will be playable on both Wii and DS simultaneously. It will also have Mii support. You can finally take your Miis’ out on a quest like you always wanted to!
Here is a video

Other games shown were Punch Out (The awaited Retro IP…) Another Code (or Trace Memories for the Wii), Dynasty Warriors which will be making its debut appearance on Wii. And offcourse Sin and Punishment 2 (Which will be awesome or certain people will get hurt:@)

I can not find a video but if you could post it up here it would be awesome.

Ahh…. and offcourse the DS will be getting a heaping helping of games! There is too much to list so I will just name my pics.
-Miles Edgeworth Ace Prosecutor (Not real name)
-Crono Cross/ Trigger
-Rune Factory 2 or another Harvest Moon.
AND MANY MORE!

And for something a little…2002-2005

Nintendo is re-releasing GameCube games for the Wii. Pikmin being the first! Hopefully this isn’t the pikmin game Miamoto was talking about.(please don’t let it be it…)
Of course this might mean a Zelda:WW remake will be released (heres hoping). Oh and an online Metroid Prime would make me quit school just to play it.

Of course there are many questions still remaining like- will the DSi allow for SDHC use. Will the WiiStorage device allow bigger cards. and offcourse the ultimate question- When am I able to play these!!?!?!? We will get much more details in the future…hopefully not in the distant future.

Nicely summarized. However I am annoyed by this. If they'd just put an SD slot on the Lite, I'd be more than happy. I don't need any of this other ****, and it seems that it will impact the battery life VERY badly.
