Alone in the Dark

I thought the monsters in TNN were quite cool. You've probably never played any of the retro versions from the 90s because they're so hard to find, but I thought the original Alone in the Dark from 1992 was the best.

It really did seem like a true horror game, whereas Alone in the Dark 2 was mainly about fighting pirates and bootleggers, while trying to rescue a little girl from their leader, One Eyed Jack.

Anyway, there's gonna be another one on the PC and Xbox 360, to be released this year. It's gonna be an episode based game, but Atari seem to be having problems completing the game due to money issues. Therefore it may end up being a short-lived project, or it may even be further prostoned.

Wasnt the origanle Alone in the Dark, where you gotta save this girl from this mansion?
And in the starting scene a crazy clown comes into her room?
If that is ,Ilved leaving the mansion and getting killed by the person inside the car!

I'd never heard of the game series till I read your thread, (And even mistook it for another game.) but I checked on WikiPedia and it seems like an interesting story. >.< Now to pluck up some courage to actually try a horror game.

The graphics were pretty ........blah
