Battlefield 2142 Confirmed!

What're the system requirements for 1942 and 2?
I've googled it but it didn't come up with anything useful for me. >_<
I'm thinking of downloading one of em, but seeing as it takes ages, i'd like some feedback on which one's best and which one, if not both, will play on my rig.

The only thing really limiting me is my CPU, which is a 1.7GHz Athlon XP 2000+ (2GHz Intel equivalent). I have the 1.5GB of RAM and 256MB video memory and 6.6Mbit connection, but my motherboard is getting old and limits the speed of a lot of things (4x AGP, PC2100, ATA100, USB 1.0).
