COD4 help needed
I had recently gotten COD4 and with my terrible graphics card can't run it that great. I found a config file named "config_mp.cfg" and I put it where it was supposed to be. I started the game and nothing changed, is there something else that I need to do for it to run?

A god graphics card to get would have to be the 8800gtx. I have that. it pwns!
But it can also run on an 8600.

Biscuit, a Graphic Card is the hardware that runs the 3D graphics in your videogames.
And what are you doing touching the configs? Besides, that's for multiplayer. Also, I suggest you get a XFX 8600 GT XXX, it only costs 90-100, and will run COD4 at High settings. It's what I have. =D

Ah, my mistake. I read it too fast =P
And pshh. Not all of us can afford a 8800. Damn you rich white people! ;) But 8600 is the best budget card, imo, if you just want to play most of the games here at med-high settings (excluding Crysis). Just wondering, where'd you get that config? Configs wouldn't help you with that card =(
