The End on Metal Gear Solid 3

I'm not talking about the last boss, I'm talking about The End, one of the Cobra unit fighters. I got him down to 1/4 of his health left, then he randomly kills me in one shot (I had full stamina and health) and transports me to the lab where I found the drunk dude who gave me the warehouse keycard. Help! PS: I hate this boss battle, the pace is slow and boring. Spending 5 minutes with a microphone finding a sleeping man isn't my idea of fun, Konami.

Konami can't please everyone ya know. I happened to really enjoy that 40+ min battle with him; quite possibly my favourite battle of all time. But there are easier strategies to find where he is. Look for his parrot, turn on your Infared Sensor and look for his foot prints, or/and like you did, use the microphone. The sensor was the easiest for me. Most imporanty, patience is the key.

Btw, are you sure you were at full stamina. I don't think so... since his tranqs lower your stamina slowly. You'll have to go to the CURE mode to remove them.

Btw, when you face him! DON'T SAVE! OR ELSE YOU'LL RETURN BACK TO THE LAB!

Also: I heard if you turn your PS2 clock forward a couple of weeks, the old geezer will fall and die when you start the game. It works but not sure how long you have to put the date.

This thread is realatively spoiler free. If you go to the MGS 3 website The End is on there, and its your own fault you were curious.
