Id go for a Legend of zelda, like Ocarina of time, that ones kinda easy but harder then some rpgs.

dude fire emblem is long, plus the replay value is huge. there are only a few "hard" levels when you play it on normal (like the last level). but on hard it can be pretty challenging. not for me of course, because i've beaten it way too many times.
