As of today, there are four new videos, two cinematic cutscenes from the game, and two gamplay!

ShadowMarth's Commentary:
Cutscene 1
Appears to be a scene of the main character getting royally thrashed by his instructor in a stick fight. Pretty funny if you ask me. A girl comes in as he gets knocked out, and helps him. He appears to have a vision while he is out... Seems to suggest that the woman in the vision was in fact the older version of the young girl that helps him.

Cutscene 2
A very sinister and foreboding video with what seems to be a fallen angel, and the introduction of a villian. A very big looking guy with a bigger sword. Very dangerous looking, but not so much as the dragon over his shoulder. Shows some battle animations with various heroes and attacks. Finishes with a pose of the hero standing in front of his army of peasants and royals. Very cool.

Gameplay 1
Shows mid-battle action with a very familiar control scheme. Not a bad thing though, and the graphics are obviously majorly vamped up. There is a short battle between a lance-weilding cavalier and a lone swordsmen. The cavalier kicks its butt very shortly with a very cool critical hit move. Next our friendly hero goes after a very menacing axe weilder, but it is inconclusive.

Gameplay 2
This shorter clip has a pair of rather uneventful battles between the Swordsman hero and another axe weilder, and a battle between a friendly axe weilder and an enemy one. Both battles are won by the ally.


These videos are really making me look forward to it. The cutscenes show that they are definately not going to cheap out on any aspect of it. There's just one thing left to consider... Length. The original american one kept me for at least 15+ hours on the first run, much less my next ones. I hope they keep up this track record on the big GC.

More, and it rocks. I won't bother with my summaries at the moment. The gameplay is very good, no new cutscenes though. I suggest checking out the video preview. They only do video previews for really good stuff. This media jumped the GC fire emblem to #1 on the gamspot list.
