It's a waste to level up the first class to 20, lv 13-16 is enough, it also depends on the characters growth rate like I said before.I thought I didn't spoil anything since Euan is playing through it AGAIN, which means for the second or more times.
Well anyway, here are some more growth rates from what I've seen through all of my playthrough's
Serra- her speed and resistance are grade A. She also gets a nice stat growth with her attack when you promote her. She is the only preist in the game that actually looks different. Her other stats are mediocre before she promotes so it will be a pain just getting her to lv 10 to class change.
Sain- A guy that tends to excel in the power department, his skill and speed aren't too far behind, take or give a couple of points. Thats great and all, but his resistance is non-exsistant, most of the time he bareley gets 2 points in that category before he class changes.
Kent- Sains runnig buddy. Kent seems like a pacifist in more ways than one. His attack is solid but isn't as great as Sain's, but he does has something that Sain doesn't, thats resistance. His other stats are solid except his luck which is like that for almost everyone.
Rebecca-Hmmm, she is...mediocre at best. At lv 5 most of her stats are at either 6 or 7 except het res which is probably 1. If you actualy manage to lv her up she is great because her growth rate for most of her stats are pretty high. When she becomes an Sniper, her speed and skill tends to max at lv 8.
Wil- Rebeccas oyfriend I assume. He is the radical version of Rebecca. He excels at everything and has great growth rate for all categories except res, thats where Rebecca beats him at...mabe speed too.
Lowen-...there are just too many cavaliers in Fire Emblem. If all Fire Embles where like Fire Emblem 5 where mounted people can get off thier horse and actually fight, it would be nice to have alot of Cavaliers.Despite what I just said Lowen is actually a good unit if you train him well. As a cavalier, Lowen doesn't have resistance, but the rest of his stats are pretty solid. I suggest class changing him at lv 17 because his stat growth is average at best. As a apladin, some of his stats should max out at lv 12.
Marcus- This gold guy is actually strong, but he gets de-throned in the next Fire Emblem, his age caught up to him I guess. That describes Marcus, he is power house at the start of the game and if you use him, his stats max out like at lv 15.
Oswin- Oswin is the alternate Wallace of the game. He excels at power, defense, skill and...speed?! Yes, he is fast for an armor unit, the fastest armor unit actually. I would advise to invest in Oswin because of this, class change him at lv 15 and you will see what I mean.
Thats it for now, I'll cover all the characters eventually.
