i think we're all talking about multiplayer here. thats where shooters are the most fun, anyway.

and halo takes a LOT of thinking(believe it or not) if you want to be good.

I'd say Halo is more like a really slow, dumbed down actioney FPS more along the lines of UT most of the time. Compared to UT04, when I play Halo I feel like every part of the game is drowned in sludge. You move slowly, jump slowly, aim slowly, shoot slowly, I mean really, it's a game for retards *coughhalofreakscough*.

It depends on who your playing with. It can be just running around shooting, or you all can take it hardcore. Not unlike Super Smash Bros. The best multiplayer games can be played on different levels like this.

Does that mean i have loads of spare thinking power then? It doesn't take anything for me to be good at it. I pwn everyone i've played on it so far. Admittedly that isn't many coz i only play online when i go over one of my friends, but they have been some of the harder players that never come off it.

well i used to play online a lot and i got pretty dang good, and knew about 400 strategies per map, it took a lot of frickin thinking to play and win against people actually good at the game.

you're not good if all you do is point and shoot. sure maybe you're good at the shooting thing, but people who know good strats in that game but suck at shooting will still beat you.

Come down to NC State, I've got some friends that'll give you a rude awakening on how bad you suck...

Yeah, I've heard of that kid aswell... and frankly, if he doesn't come near me, I don't care. No offense or anything, but i doubt he still plays Halo. he's probably moved onto better games.

uh no...

people who are awesome at halo rarely "move on" to anything other than the next halo game.
