lunar legend maybe? great rpg, not much strategy or anything.

i'd stick to the disney games and stuff like that. pokemon is a necessity for 9-year olds with GBAs...

I would say either Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland or Yoshi's Island (the remake of the SNES game, forgot what it's called)
