Well, it's been confirmed at E3. The next portable console for Nintendo is the Gameboy Micro. Nintendo said that it is very sleek and has a very shiny screen. It also has removable faceplates, so you can customize yours any way you want. What do you think it will be like?

and as small as a credit card too

Nintendo also revealed a new edition of its Game Boy handheld. The Game Boy micro shrinks the already diminutive Game Boy Advance down further, and still retains the functions of the Game Boy Advance SP. The unit is slightly larger than a credit card, and can fit easily into gamer's back pockets.

The unit will play all Game Boy Advance games and will have customizable faceplates. However, there are no new multimedia functions to speak of.

Holy crap. That's tiny. I thought they said that would rival the PSP?

the DS rivals the PSP...

anyway, i don't care. make that an analog stick, add 2 more buttons and I'm sold. it looks like it'd be pretty cheap.

also, this may not be the successor that rivals the PSP, this just looks like a really cheap version of the GBA with way updated graphics.

I was just about to post a pic. That thing is microskopic! :P I would like to try it. I wonder how small the screen is?

Same here. I agree with you on that, but they did announce that the DS was not to rival the PSP. The next GB was. Then again, this is probably just a gameboy pocket scenario.
