GBA Multiplayer (Single Card)

I didn't know this but apparently, the GBA has the single-card multiplayer feature. Did anyone else know this? And how does it work, is there a meny that allows one of the download the game?

Advance Wars 2 has single cartridge multiplayer, but it sucked, especially since you could just pass the GBA around.

Hmm, as far as i know, Mario Kart has it.

It's the same as the DS' download play thingy.

Yeah, I never knew that -- I thought only the DS have it which made it so innovative. But whatever... it's all good =)

Yeah, Mario Kart had it.

You could only be Yoshi, and you could only choose from four tracks, though. A lot of other games had it to, like the Super Mario Advanced series.

Same thing as DS but with a cable. All the Mario Advances, MArio Kart, and some others have this feature.

the thing was,
with the GBA you we're limited to 256KB of memory to download the game into,
with the DS you have 4MB

i don't know about advance wars 2, but in the first one you could play (linked up) single-cartridge. it only offered one map though, and had no battle animations.
