Gizmondo "a force to be reckoned with"

Gizmondo Europe Ltd, subsidiary of Jacksonville, Florida-based Tiger Telematics Inc. (other OTC, TGTL), today emphatically stated its resolve to become a force to be reckoned with in the games market with the announcement of a massive 89 games scheduled for release on the new Gizmondo handheld multi-entertainment device.

Hit titles for Gizmondo have already been announced from Microsoft Games Studios, SCI, Disney's BuenaVista Games, Team 17, and Fathammer, with further announcements pending from European gaming giant, Ubisoft Entertainment, plus one of the world's leading developer and publisher of interactive entertainment.

the PSP will be availabel on september 1st in Europe and will retail at around £180. The gizmondo is available now at around £230 i think. I really can't see Gizmondo succeeding against the DS and the PSP even so it is the most powerful i think (it has a 400Mhz processor and an Nvidia graphics chip). This will probably go the way of the gamecom and ngage. its even less focused than the PSP, looks quite bad and has alot of useless features that might be nice addons but thats it. Drop it to £150 and they'll have my attention.

seriously? here in the states the Gizmondo is like 175 dollars more than the PSP.

i have no idea what the exchange rates are though
