Graphics card problem

Hey guys, its been awhile. N e way, I have an ATI Radeon 9600XT and ever since I installed BF2 on my comp. their has been an error message saying VPU had to reset all the settings on my graphics card. Whenever I try to play any game now it does this and kicks me outta the game, does anyone know whats wrong or have a solution

I had the same error with my 9250. It wasn't on the supported cards list... I'll see if I can find it.

Same thing happened to me. When I upgraded to an x800 it worked fine.

who plays battlefield 2 then? i do got the Radeon 9800 pro card so i was ok when i got it but

2. who has the game and can play it

I have an FX5700LE and it runs fine, even at 4x AGP and a number of other mobo limitations. The frame rate suffers a bit in certain situations though.

Well, of course it works fine when you buy a new card lol, but i fixed it, i guess it was the drivers got corrupted by the game so no more BF2 until I get Radeon 850XT Pro. i work at best buy so i get like $50 off.

I spent a good 12+ hours straight on that game... ran perfectly on a friend's gaming comp, and I loved it. Still, it's certainly not (to me) what would be known to consoles as a "system seller", which would persuade me to go out and get a new comp or expensive new upgrades to play it.
