I'm getting guild wars this weekend. I was wondering if any of you were, and if you were, screen names. Gamespot just came out with a review, and it rocks.

yup i know a lot of people who have it, they say it rocks (but isn't as good as WoW)

I'm now up and running. It rocks! My guy's name is Tanak Pharae (came up with it myself... sort of). He's a ranger for the primary profession, for his secondary I am thinking mesmer or necromancer. One of the cool things about GW is that you aren't restricted to one server like all the others. You can change servers... a limited number of times. I think it's five. Anyway, I suggest district 41. It's not very crowded or anything. Also, it was insane... My friend has an awesome computer, but his DSL modem... uh... caught fire, and he was stuck with dial up... AND IT STILL RAN GREAT!

I am currently typing up a nice little synopsis of my early experiences. Since this is not a DS game, I will post it here in the Gaming Board. I will include pictures straight from my game, and will be open to any questions.

Wow. I have 512. Not suprising though, my old computer had... 300 mhz of processing power! The shame. Argh... I was going to post a graphics comparison of the highest and lowest graphics settings, but imageshack is acting up for me. I run it on lowest, because it still looks great and it avoids virtually all lag.
