Half-Life and Half-Life 2

ive played both of em. im not a big first person shooter fan but i love both of those games.

I play CSS every single day and ive beaten HL1 and HL2.

i got the box set of half-life, HL2 and CSS. if you have a good pc you should download the super high res texture packs for HL2 (and maybe the alyx nude mod while your at it)

my friend let me borrow em all. ive been playing CSS mostly however, if anyone wants to play. And do you think I could run high texture with a prescott 3.0GHz HT, 512MB RAM, and a 256MB GEForce FX 5500?

I have the HL Platinum Collection and HL2, played through both and enjoyed it. HL2 seemed a bit short, I beat it in 3 days (or about 20-30 hours according to Xfire), shorter than most FPS's I play. Right now all I play related to HL is CSS, but only on occasion.

idk u can try the high reso pack....it works pretty well for me, but i have to open the window to cool of my computer cause its overclocked so far lol

lol just get some proper cooling for it....

well that depends on weather you make it yourself... which is very effective and cheap and im guessing you search for very overclockerbal parts to build your system too if you overclocked it so you should have kinda planned for cooling or know how to make your own stuff

anyway should get back on topic i suppose

and yea half-life 1 and 2 are both grate i feel 2 is shorter but there is alot more to do/explore in number 2 and there is more detail put into all objects weather they are relivent or not so thats why i think its smaller

o and is is just me but this chapters thing they are doing with the expansion just taking the piss as you will geta few houres of gameing for probaly the best part of a £10err
