Pilot and Mormon: BF1942 rocks. Halo 2 rocks. But Halo 2 would have just too much competition on the PC, where the real FPS games are. BF1942 has tons of complete conversion mods, like the star wars one, and Desert Combat. I still play with my friends when they set up a server. Hmm, that's happening tonight....

DSDude: Yep. I have to agree. However, Halo on the PC was still a good game. With the name, AI, and story it'll still do respectably. If only they're released it 3 years ago, rather than saving it for this atrocity...

What makes BF1942 better than Halo 2 is the mods and insane multiplayer. I know there's Halo mods for both BF1942 and UT2004, but I don't see any mods for Halo (then again, I'm not looking). Halo is best on Xbox, they stripped down the PC version too much, but for PC gamers like me, PC has better control and overall capabilities, thus making the hot PC games better than the hot console games.

Let me reword what I said about Mac, it's only impractical for PC gamers to switch, and it's practical for media editors to switch, but everything in between is about the same.

Dude, there's lots of mods for Halo on PC. Most of them suck, and many of them have guns that fire genitals, but they exist.
