Good luck lkr, Mac genuinly is unpractical,its just pathetic, style before substance, cant gt anything decent to work with it. The look nice, but function fades in comparison to windows.

I'll be waiting atleast a year before i move to Vista, mainly because they can sort out all the bugs within the first year, in which time my PC sould hold up fine, and i'll buy another one around late 2007.

are you kidding me? macs are WAY more practical >_> i would have 2 of them instead of these freakin windows ones if it weren't for the fact that the mac has a very limited gaming supply

The fact that Mac's have almost nothing for games is what makes it impractical. I'd much sooner switch to Linux before I try Mac, as a matter of fact I already plan to switch my server to Linux within a few months. Another huge reason is because PC's are much easier and cheaper to customize, I've been upgrading little by little and I'm getting close to a 3rd PC because of it, after some $1000-$1500 total (including the $500 for my first PC I bought from my dad about 5 years ago).
I'll upgrade to Vista sooner or later, but I'd wait until I see several good advantages (like when I upgrade to a 64-bit CPU), never just for one or a few games (I don't care much for Halo 2 anyway, BF1942 and many others I have are still better).

if gaming is mostly all that you use the PC for, then of course its impractical.

but otherwise, not so much. the Mac still has a lot of great games windows does... like starcraft ^_^

and halo 2 is way better than bf1942, wtf are you smoking >_>
