has any1 played everquest 2

ive been busy over the past week or 2 playing it and i must say its amazing. I currently have a lvl 17 erudite summoner and a lvl 10 half elf bard. The bard is mainly used for crafting, and has been working as a provisioner. The summoner is of course my main lvling/fighting 1 for watever reasons. Im on the Nektulos server and im just curious to see if any1 here actually plays it =P. If u do move servers now and join me :P .

yea well it will be my first mmorpg so would it be a good one to start off with or is there better ones (be honest). :)

and it said there is a plain for a patch so do you know when the patch is out or when they expect to have it ready?

im assuming as they say on the forum it comes with it, as when before u start the game it analyzes and installs all updates made to the game, so you are updated.

MMORPG wise i guess i can tell u about other games. I played Final Fantasy 11 for a full year, it was good except for its major flaw... what happens if you die. If you just level up and die without getting more than 10 percent of the exp til next lvl, u level down... which sux.... Also the quest structure is too limited.
Everquest 2 i love, even though i havent played the first. Theres so much to do and so little time to do it all in ^^. Only flaw ive seen so far is that you have to learn how to do a lot of stuff, and quests are thrown at you randomly (most quests u get from talking to random NPCs u find in the world). But its major goodness is the world... its sooo freikin big its unbelieveable. Ive heard, but havent tried, that if you want to swim from your town (good or evil) to the other, it takes a full day of swimming(real time) to get there if going nonstop. Of course theres a billion of things in between, not to mention monsters that are high level.
World of Warcraft i havent haerd too much about, but this is Blizzard we are talkin about here.... so expect not many updates, or some over a long period of time. Its a game made for Warcraft fans... thats all i know, i havent really heard too many good things about it from people i know.

If it is ur first, ur gonna need a lot of help on noob island. Ill just make a third character and run u by stuff, to help u get aquainted with the game style. (oh did i mention in Final Fantasy XI you have to pay 1 buck more a month for each additional character... no other game does that)

yea came out in November if you do get it tell me and we could start together iv been told by others it better to go round in groups etc...

and at least we would know some one lol :D

WoW ( World of Warcraft ) is the best MMORPG ever produced, in every respect. Take this from someone who has beta tested and played through nearly every high end MMO.

yea well ive got one of the pre order final beta test codes :) so will be able to see just hope that its not too much time untill they start the final beta.
