i just rented out resident evil 4 and honestly its awesome!
everything i heard about this game is true, and that its game of the year game of the new millenium what ever, this is a brilliant game ad i can just tell by the first 10 minutes of playing.
the only thing that can really be improved on is the lock on target aiming.
and the things just damn to tense for me, i shouted out "f*ck" 3 times with in the first 2 minutes of me being in the village.
i think lock on shooting would make it a whole lot better.
p.s has anyone got any cheats for it?

I disagree with the lock-on shooting. It's not a scary game (and I get scared pretty easily), the only part which I find scary is when a guy is near you and your trying to shoot him in the head to preserve bullets, that wouldn't be the case with lock on.

It's an awesome game though, just re-started, only just saved Ashley in my other game, missed a few things playing on my own!

I probably won't be getting this because i scare easily and certain unpleasent things then happen to my pants. I cant afford new pants and it is a factor when budgeting for games like this. Still from what iv seen it looks awsome. Lets see that running smoothly on a PS2.

Its an excellent game and the loick on feature, in my opinion, would of been retarded. Having to actually aim is a skill to master which is good when you do, theres nothing like shooting the head of a farmer and seeing all that clarret spray everywhere and look at it and say "i did that all by myself".

All through the game i was thinking what would be next because its full of suprises all the way through, even playing as ashley isn't as tedious as it looks.

As for how scary? It's not scary its intence. Like what euan_hmfc said, those momnemts are crappifying. Seeing a horde of crazy villagers coming to you in pitch black with only strikes of lightning showing them up is part of the fun and soon gets your heart pumping faster than you bashing that A button franticly as you run for your dear life from a boulder.

It's brilliant, pure genious Capcom have sure spent there time on this, and it shows. Oh and 2 disks aswell do you won't be completing it in a day. And don't even get me on those heavy breathing, wobbly belly, blue human, big teeth, strechy arm, very scary monsters X-X

i love those monsters chuddy you take out there arms and legs and wtch the flop around on the ground like a dying fish its great and they they get up again and the you do it all over a again

You can do a similar thing with the flood on halo. Knock out their arms and they will follow you around and draw fire but they can't hit you.

I was about to post the same thing ShadowMarth03. :P It shure is fun shooting their arms off and see them just doing nothing but follow you. Oh, and bignds, have fun with your new game and don't get to scared. I don't have it, but I would certainly like to try it. :D
