Going with the whole Square thing, yea I agree that after FF 7 things went slightly downhill, with the exception of FF11, in the final fantasy game series. Super Mario RPG will still be up there on my best games of all time list, even if square doesnt eventually give the rights of geno and mallow to Nintendo (Geno for Brawl!).

Now back on topic, I've only played the first Kingdom Hearts, and I will say that it was a great game, but when it comes to single player RPG games, the classics are still the best (we're talking SNES here lol).

Whats wrong with Final Fantasy 8!?
Right now I feel like its SOOOO much better than FF7, im only up to disc to and i am loving it!And Final Fantasy 9 is AWESOME! Better than 7, the thing is alot of people havn't played 9 so they just give it a thumbs down.And 10 is Brill! and so is 10-2!Yeah, it was abit fast but looking at 12 i would give 10-2 a 10!and also, 11..yeah its AWESOME!12....................it isnt a final fantasy...thats all im saying....no good story...no good gameplay.......No goood....well not a good game.....yeah;.

Final Fantasy games are great...and I agree with you on 12...
I haven't actually played it myself, but it doesn't look at all like Square's great successes....
