Kingdom Hearts
This was the reason I got my PS2... I wasn't really a big RPG gamer until my cousin got me hooked on KH: CoM.
Then, I just had to get the original KH...and totally fell in love with many more RPG's such as FF... Anyway...this topic is for open discussion of Kingdom Hearts among fans of the game, as well as any newbies to the game that just want help, tips, or some bg info on the game... ------Tiny bits of spoilers to follow------ Question for anyone who's played KH1, KH: CoM, or KH2: What are your expectations of KH3? Like...what kind of characters and worlds do you think there will be? And will there be more Keyblades and stuff? I myself think that without Keyblade upgrades, the game would lose some of it's honor. I mean, every new game they've had so far had some new weapons... As for playability of the characters...will we ever get to play as Riku besides in that battle with Xehanort? That wan't even total control. Enough of my ranting...what does everyone else have to say?

Ahhh. Spoilers ><
I was planning on finishing KH2 this summer but I got caught up with other (better) games ><'' I guess I have next year. Besides, I think we're the only two that played KH.

Why does Square make so many amazing RPGs. Is it because they're geniuses or because after FF7, they brain washed us into thinking that every game isn't what it is. o_O

Actually...I have a little sotry about Square...and it's the truth. Here we go...
Back in the 1980's, Square was miserably failing. Sure, all it's games were ok, but to tell the truth, they sucked. Final Fantasy was meant to be it's final game, thus the name. This one game was to be so good, Square would be remembered across the world as the crappy company that went out with a bang. It didn't turn out that way. Japan loved Final Fantasy. In fact, they loved it so much, they begged for more. Square began working on FFII and FFIII soon thereafter. About the time these two were released, FFI was brought to America, where it was also loved. But sadly, FFII and III weren't brought to America, as by the time FFI was here, we were already moving on to SNES. You get the picture. Square was practally on the Death Row of video games, so they came up with one of the best series of all time. I just thought that would be some interesting info...

Yeah, every SE fanboy/girl would know that story. But it's all true. But I'm kinda skeptical about Final Fantasy now. FFXII was good, but I usually play it for the music. Without Nobuo, it's NOTHING-ish. =(

The first time I heard that story, I regret, was on G4's Icons show. That was about 3 years ago before I started boycotting G4.
