RE: To Australians regarding EBGames....
The jury's still out on MGS3:Snake Eater. I'm not really sure whether or not to get it, as I haven't (and don't plan to) completed MGS2 as I didn't really like that game. The three parts all seem to be inter-locked in some way, so I'm still not sure. I'm getting a demo in a few days time which could win me over...

MGS2's story was rather weird, and was perhaps too political for most people who don't think about things like freedom of the press and freedom of speech.

Nah, to be honest it wasn't the storyline that put me off. After a few years' absence from the MEtal Gear series, I wasn't able to get "back into the swing of things" and I found it too difficult / didn't know where I was going.
I'll PROBABLY give MGS3 a miss, but you never know...!
