Best of the series, imo... best line of bosses as well; great graphics. It's hard to complain... and the ending makes sense too! ;) Btw, how long did it take to defeat The End? Took me about an hour!

I just got it... I never used the shotgun in the opening part :). (mainly cause I couldn't figure out how to equip the damn thing, then I just forgot about it) I'm just past the part where you get owned again by boss after you see a horse (I picked up an AK-47 just recently)

iv never played a metal gear game, but could you guys recommend it to me? is it really as good as people say? if you could rate them for Graphics, Gameplay, Sound and interactivity, how many marks would you give it out of ten for each subject?

The Metal Gear Solid series have the best storylines ever, do NOT skip the cut scenes... MGS2 was for a lot of people including myself at the time very weird, but now I appreciate the story and about how it was about the government trying to control information and censor the internet.
MGS1 had a kick arse story, I'm still waiting for MGS3 to be released here, can't wait to play it :D

Here is where? Dude Metal Gear Solid 3 blows 2 out of the water story and graphicswise, but the framerate in MGS3 sucks ass, MGS2's is much smoother. Also, 85% of the game is in the good-old outdoors. So get used to it. And the boss called The End will be a hate it or love it experience.

Hmmm hope that the frame rate is still acceptable, here == New Zealand. I've already got it preordered, can't wait to play it :D
