Nintendo: 'Revolution' May Alienate 3rd-parties?

I find this encouraging imo. The fact that every new generation console is just built on newer/better graphics is getting lame. Nintendo is trying to reinvent the word "gaming". And putting my trust in Nintendo, I think they'll be successful. But that's kinda hard to say when we have no idea what they have under their sleeves =/

What do you guys think? Encouraging? Yes - no?

i don't think it's fair to size that better graphics are lame...
let's face it, there thing you couldn't have done years ago (at all).
I don't think Mario 64 could have been done on a the SNES, it just didn't have the power for 3D of that nature...

I fulling expect the controls of the revolution to be different but as more power is added, the game will get more inovated.

well thats the first post that had a little topic relation...anyways...graphics arent everything BUT if mario 64 ds looked really bad then it wouldnt sell much >.> but the ds has graphics that are good enough..the psp is just over the top graphics and thats whats selling it

This is true...
but we may one day see a game that can't be done on the DS but can be done the PSP simply because of graphics...
I can't wait to see what GOLDEN EYE: ROW AGENT looks like on the DS. I have a real concern it won't happen, and we will end up with a 2D game instead of "lite" version of RA.
With the limited ram I worrie that the DS won't be able to store the huge levels that are in RA, nore with the processor have the power for the physics of throwing people and working with Both Guns...
We will see what will be done...

well if they do work with nintendo they can do good things with any system spec. nintendo have never failed us so if EA fail the big N will not fail us (they just make there own FPS game) just have some faith in them.
