Nowhere to reserve Advent Children?

I cannot find for the life of me anyplace online to reserve FF7: Advent Children on DVD. It comes out on the 14th of this month, but places like Gamestop and EBgames say it won't ship until November! WTF! Does anyone know of a place you can buy it that will actually ship on it's release date that sells it for under $30?

Never realised Advent Children was this close to being released and yet I still haven't completed FFVII. Although I'm excited, I'll be so pissed if I still haven't completed it by the time AC comes out.

Hopefully it's not yet another 'movie flop' in terms of games > motion picture and actually keeps up the great game that FFVII is/was.

Some sites are reporting that Advent Children's US release date has been pushed back to November. Please note that these are rumors only at this time. Recently when contacting Square-Enix about the release date, we were told that an exact US release date was never announced, but a plan for a release in the same time period, which appears to slightly contradict information released at E3. We will keep you updated of any further official word regarding this.

First off, there was never no release date set for the US version. The countdown that was put up on the website was put up by mistake. The release for the US version will be around the time after the Japan release of September 14th but still there is no exact release date.

They are hoping to have a November release though... whether they'll be a Nov release or even a release this year, god only knows.

Director Tetsuya Nomura: "With CG nothing is impossible, and over the last two years we've put a lot of effort into getting it close to ideal as we could. My schedule is booked with commitments to various game projects from here on in, but if the time's right then I would definitely like to make another film."

Producer Shinji Hashimoto: "As for any future plans for making another film, we're going to see how things play out and think about it. Of course, if the staff say they would like to make another, then as a company we will support them with that."

Takahiro Sakurai (Cloud Strife): "Playing a role like Cloud, who even though he's quite heroic also has a naive and awkward side to him, required a lot of subtle nuances of expression and was quite a challenge. But it was really worth it. It's an honor for me to have had the chance to play such a wonderful character."

Ayumi Itou (Tifa Lockhart): "This is the first time I've worked as a voice actor, and it was quite different from regular acting. You've got to learn to put your feelings into your voice, and I felt a bit lost at times. But I learnt a lot over two years I spent working on Advent Children. I hope I can use what I've learnt from this experience in my future film work."
